Description
This PVCCAP6 Schedule 40 PVC slip cap is a plumbing fitting that allows you to cap off or end a section of pipes. This cap has a nominal measurement of 6″ and is for use with 6″ piping. The PVCCAP6 has a slip connection, meaning that it slips directly onto the desired section of pipes. These fittings are used to protect piping from dust and moisture during transportation. Also, it can be used as end caps for pipes used to transport smaller-sized pipes. Furthermore, it is great for water applications such as irrigation and sprinkler systems. However, they should never be used for gas or compressed air applications. A PVC primer and glue are necessary for connecting pipes and fittings together.
