Simpson Strong-Tie H16S Hurricane Tie

Designed to provide a connection between trusses/rafters and the top plate of the wall to resist high-wind/seismic forces. Also suitable for connecting 2x deck joists on top of a perpendicular beam. The presloped 5/12 seat of the H16 provides for a tight fit and reduced deflection. Galvanized for extra corrosion resistance. The strap length provides for various truss heights up to a maximum of 13-1/2-inch.
