Simpson Strong-Tie PPBF66 Adjustable Porch Post Base

Simpsons PPBF adjustable porch post base safely supports porch framing during each phase of construction. This post base conveniently eliminates the need for temporary vertical supports. It provides more strength and stability for when work is getting done on and around the porch roof. The seat is adjustable and accommodates porch slab thicknesses ranging from 4″ to 12″. The height of the post base can be easily adjusted by threading the seat up and down onto the threaded rod. This adjustability allows contractors to raise the height while pouring the concrete slab. The post base seat has a 12 gauge, the base plate has a 3 gauge, and the threaded rod has a 3/4″ gauge. Installation: The PPBF postbase fastens to the footing with two Titen Turbo concrete screws (not included). The PPBF postbase has been tested and load rated. These tests guarantee the post base will support the weight of most framed porches and overhangs before the post base is embedded in the concrete.
